Residents and staff at a Renfrew care home enjoyed a right royal knees-up on the day of the King's coronation.
Around 100 people attended the event in Craigielea Care Home, in French Street, which saw residents' loved ones also taking part in the celebrations.
The coronation of King Charlies III was screened live on a big television screen, with entertainer Tommy Twigg also keeping spirits high.
Sarah Spiers, service manager at Craigielea Care Home, said she had received positive feedback about the event.
She told The Gazette: "It was a lovely day.
"The residents were all waving their wee flags and had on their Union Jack hats.
"It went really well and families have commented very positively."
Attendees could enjoy hot food, such as hotdogs, hamburgers and chicken drumsticks, from a barbecue in a gazebo.
Cakes, sandwiches and other tasty treats were also on offer, along with a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic refreshments.
Sarah added: "Residents within care homes should have the same life that they would have in the community, so we're opening our doors for community involvement and participation within the service.
"We have a vast activity programme put in place to enable our residents to go out and integrate into the community."
