A MAN has been arrested and charged following an alleged murder bid in Paisley.
We previously reported that cops taped off Broomlands Street at around 2.30pm yesterday after being alerted to a 'disturbance'.
A 29-year-old was arrested, meanwhile, a man, aged 54, was taken to hospital following the incident.
His condition is currently unknown.
The 29-year-old has since been charged. He will appear in court on Monday.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “A 29-year-old man has been arrested and charged following a disturbance and the attempted murder of a 54-year-old man on Broomlands Street, Paisley, around 2.30pm on Thursday, May 4.
“He is expected to appear at court on Monday, May 8.”
