TWO teenagers have been arrested following an alleged 'stabbing' in Renfrew at the weekend.
Cops were called to a disturbance on Mitchell Avenue at 7.40pm on Friday night.
Officers taped the area off.
It is believed that a 24-year-old man was allegedly stabbed during the incident.
He was rushed to hospital for treatment.
Cops arrested and charged a 17-year-old girl and an 18-year-old man in connection.
They were due to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court today.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were called around 7.40pm on Friday, April 7, to a report of a disturbance in the Mitchell Avenue area of Renfrew.
“A 24-year-old man was injured and taken to hospital for treatment.
“A 17-year-old female youth and an 18-year-old man were arrested and charged in connection with the incident and are due to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court on Tuesday, April 11, 2023.”
