Investing in quality dental treatment can be life changing. Anyone who has experienced missing teeth or loose dentures can testify to the detrimental impact it has on both your eating and confidence.
If you are self-conscious about your smile, then getting dental implants could be the solution you are looking for.
If you are thinking about exploring dental implants, the good news is that there’s a local practice that focuses on advanced implant techniques. Erskine Dental Care and Dental Implant Centre, located in the Bridgewater Shopping Centre in Erskine, is led by founder and implant dentist Dr Philip Byrne and has grown to include four other implant dentists.
Philip has been providing dental implants since 2007 and has a recognised special interest in this area, providing treatment solely in this field.
“A lot of patients describe dental implants as ‘life changing’ for them,” he explains, “and that they can’t believe how easy it was to get the treatment done. Many of our patients who have had dental implants say that they wish they had it done earlier.”
For those who aren’t familiar with dental implants, they are a kind of false tooth (or teeth) that are placed beneath the gum, making them more similar to your natural tooth than a denture.
They can be used to help replace anything from a single missing tooth to a full set, and have a success rate of over 98%.
Dr Byrne is experienced in advanced implant techniques, having placed thousands of implants since 2007, and Erskine Dental Care and Dental Implant Centre is the biggest provider of Chrome full mouth implant services in Scotland. Full mouth implants are a popular option for patients with no teeth or failing teeth, and can provide a same-day solution where an implant and full set of teeth can be fitted within one visit.
They offer a much more natural solution and are ideal for anyone struggling with loose dentures.
Dental implants are not a service offered by all dentists, but you can be sure that you are in good hands with the specialists at Erskine Dental Care and Dental Implant Centre. As well as Philip, there are a team of four other expert implantologists with a wealth of experience. Matthew Doswell, Guy McLennan and Ahmed Khalid are all implant experts who pride themselves on extremely high standards of patient care.
How does it work?
The first step for all patients is to have a free consultation with Dr Byrne. Here, you’ll be able to discuss your situation, receiving an initial treatment plan and an idea of timescale and costs.
You’ll then have a detailed assessment and CT scan.
Your specific dental situation will be explained clearly and you’ll be able to ask any questions about the process. The team are happy to offer 0% finance packages, with the option to spread treatment costs over two years interest-free.
When it comes to placing your implant, this is normally done under local anaesthetic, ensuring that you don’t feel any discomfort. They also offer IV sedation should you prefer. You will be reviewed one to two weeks afterwards, to make sure everything is settling as it should, with aftercare an important part of the process at Erskine Dental Care and Dental Implant Centre.
The entire is course of treatment is made as straightforward as possible by the professional and helpful team at Erskine Dental Care and Dental Implant Centre, who put their patients above all else.
But don’t just take our word for it. Patient Elaine Moore had the following review of her experience at Erskine Dental Care and Dental Implant Centre:
“I’m absolutely delighted with my new implant crown. Dr Philip Byrne and Stacey were fantastic throughout the whole process. My teeth unfortunately have been a challenge with implants in the past from previous clinics I attended, but Philip overcame the issue and undoubtedly went above and beyond to make sure the finished product was perfect. Thanks to you all. Highly recommended."
