A Renfrewshire village is now benefitting from an existing mobile Post Office service operated by the postmaster for Johnstone.
The van, which already serves Houston and Lochwinnoch, among other rural Scottish communities, is now making a stop in Howwood.
It operates from the village hall car park in Station Road – opening on Mondays, from 9am to 10am, and Fridays, from 11.45am to 12.45pm.
Scott Hamilton, network provision lead at the Post Office, said: "We are pleased to now be providing Post Office service to Howwood."
From this week, there have also been changes made to the opening times of the mobile Post Office service in other Renfrewshire villages.
In Houston, the service is available at The Old Smithy car park, in North Street, from 3.20pm to 4.35pm on Mondays and 1pm to 2pm on Fridays.
For Lochwinnoch, the mobile Post Office is stationed at the McKillop Institute car park between 10.10am and 11.10am on Mondays, 3.30pm and 4.30pm on Wednesdays, 3.15pm and 4.30pm on Thursdays and 10.30am and 11.30am on Fridays.
