A local charity is offering food parcels to those in need this Christmas.
Renfrewshire Food Giveaway is a combined venture supported by volunteers from The Humanist Society of Scotland and John McKean Martial Arts Academy.
The charity has been collecting donations for food parcels this festive season and plans to distribute food parcels to struggling families on Christmas Eve.
People in Renfrewshire who are struggling financially are being urged to get in touch if they would like to recieve a food parcel before the big day.
In a post on their Facebook page on Wednesday, a spokesperson for Renfrewshire Food Giveaway said: "Thanks to the generosity of businesses and individuals we’ve totally exceeded the amount of food we hoped to collect at this point.
"Let's get that extra food shared to those who need it.
"If you know anyone in Renfrewshire that would benefit from a having a food parcel delivered on Xmas Eve, please get them to private message this page.
"All we need is name and an address someone will be in receive the delivery after 8pm on Xmas Eve.
"A phone number could help the driver but not essential. No other information is required or questions will be asked. Thank you."
