With October finally here and Halloween fast approaching, now is the best time to start looking for your signature spooky decoration this season.
Renfrewshire has dozens of pumpkin patches nearby making it a great place to source homegrown jack-o-lanterns for your front steps.

4 - Mill Park Pumpkin Patch
Mill Park Pumpkin Patch in East Renfrewshire is open to pumpkin hunters on the weekends between October 15 and October 23.
The farm is also dog and child friendly, making a nice activity spot for the whole family.
There is free entry but visitors will have to book in advance on the Mill Park Pumpkin Patch website, but be quick as spaces are limited!

3 - The Manor House
The Manor House, which takes less than 40 minutes to get to by car, is hosting a pick-you-own pumpkin patch as well as a spooky maze.
The pumpkin patch and maze will be open from 11:30 am to 3:30 pm.
The Kilwinning event is ticketed and costs between £3.50 to £6 and will run from October 23 to October 28.

2 - Drumboy Camping
Drumboy Camping, which is a 10-mile drive from Paisley, is offering everyone the opportunity to pick their own pumpkin ahead of Halloween.
On top of pumpkin picking, there is also a spooky Halloween mystery box, face painting, and a bouncy castle among many other things!
The pumpkin event will run from October 15 to October 23.

1 - East Yonderton Farm
Located to the northwest of Paisley, East Yonderton Farm is home to dozens of farm-grown fruits and vegetables, chief among them being pumpkins.
The pumpkin patch will open on October 15 and be available all the way up to Halloween.
Pickers must book in advance and can do so by calling 0141 8893 492 or 0141 8877 044 between 9 am and 4:30 pm.
