A HOWWOOD hospice has signed a new corporate partnership with a recycling firm based in Inchinnan.
WRC Recycling has pledged to 'Pay for a Day' of care at St Vincent's Hospice by raising enough money to cover its £6,000 daily costs.
To help launch the new partnership, the charity invited members of staff at the recycling firm to the hospice.
Employees of the family-run business will also be taking part in a 'glasswalk', which is a short sponsored walk over shards of broken glass, at their headquarters on October 26.
Louise Strachan, partnership manager at St Vincent's Hospice, said: "Meeting with the team at WRC it is evident that they want to help and support the work we do at St Vincent’s Hospice.
"After having a recent visit to the hospice, our partnership was cemented.
"I am delighted to have WRC Recycling as our corporate partner and look forward to working with them to reach their fundraising goal."
