A Trustee from the Erskine Veterans Charity had a special role to play in Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral proceedings.
Jamie Fraser is the Adjutant of the Royal Company of Archers, the unit which serves as the Sovereign’s bodyguard in Scotland.
The unit guarded the Queen’s coffin and Jamie was spotted on television live in Edinburgh on Tuesday.
In the TV interview Jamie said: “The experience was a huge privilege and honour, and very emotional.
“How lovely it is to recognise the Queen who was very Scottish in character and to make sure that Scotland has honoured her properly before she moves into London.”
