POLICE have seized hundreds of thousands of pounds worth of drugs after raiding a house in Renfrewshire.
Officers from the Serious and Organised Crime Team armed with a search warrant swooped on a flat in Albion Street, Paisley, at around 9.10am on Wednesday.
It is claimed that drugs believed to be cocaine and cannabis, with an estimated street value of £800,000, were recovered.
Police said a 25-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with the raid and is due to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court today.
Detective Chief Inspector Douglas Falconer said: "We will continue to disrupt drug supply in our communities wherever we find it. Tackling illegal drugs and removing them from our communities continues to be a priority for us.
