A FIREFIGHTER from Johnstone can now kick back and relax following a long shift after scooping a luxury hot tub worth almost £7,000 from an online competition.
Calum Horn was at home relaxing after a nightshift when BOTB (Best of the Best) presenter Christian Williams video-called to tell him he was this week’s Luxury Lifestyle Competition winner and had bagged a luxury five-seater hot tub.
All Calum – who paid just 40p for his ticket – had to do to enter the competition was answer a skilled competition question.
He said he has the ‘perfect spot’ in the garden ready for when his hot tub arrives.
Calum said: “Luckily, the question this week was on the Barcelona cathedral which I’ve actually visited before so I knew the answer.
“I’ve wanted a hot tub for so long, this will be the perfect addition to the garden.
“This is definitely something to look forward to, thank you so much BOTB.”
BOTB hands over the keys to two stunning cars each week as well as a lifestyle prize. Other recent winners have bagged £15,000, a holiday to Las Vegas and a gaming tech bundle.
The company, listed on the stock market, was founded by William Hindmarch in 1999 and has given away more than £44milion worth of cars so far.
BOTB’s Christian was thrilled to give Calum the good news.
He said: “Calum sounds like a lovely guy who deserves a soak in a hot tub after a long day of fire-fighting. Massive congratulations again, Calum.”
