TWO women were taken to hospital following a road accident in Renfrewshire yesterday.
The crash involved two cars, one of which ended up on its roof.
Emergency services were called to the scene in Renfrew Road, Paisley, at around noon.
Two women were removed from the car that had flipped over and were then taken to hospital.
The driver of the other vehicle was unhurt.
A police spokesperson said: "Around 12.05pm on Thursday, November 4, police were called to a report of a two-car crash in Renfrew Road.
"Emergency services attended and one car was found to be on its roof. The two female occupants were removed from the vehicle and taken to hospital for treatment.
"The driver of the other car was uninjured.
"Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident."
