Here's what you need to know about Ikea's Christmas tree deal...
How to get a £20 voucher when you buy your Christmas tree from Ikea
If you are looking to buy a real tree from Ikea this year, you can get a £20 voucher in return.
The company has been running the initiative for a few years, and it returns again this Christmas to spread some festive joy.
For £29, you can buy a real Christmas tree from the store between November 22 and December 24.
When you do so, you will receive a £20 voucher that can then be spent in store between January 10 and February 13 2022.
The deal is only applicable to real trees and does not apply to the chain's fake tree range.
It will be available in select stores, and subject to stocks lasting.
Ikea's website says: "Our live Christmas trees are on their way, please check back often for more information."
How long do real Christmas trees last?
If cared for properly, real Christmas trees should last around 5-weeks, meaning it should last the duration of festive celebrations.
Caring for your tree includes making sure it is fed enough water and kept away from heat sources like radiators and fires.
Meanwhile, Ikea advises leaving your tree outside or in a cool garage for a day to allow for acclimatisation, before taking it inside.
It also suggests protecting your tree from the harsh wind and sun during this period of acclimatisation to help the tree retain moisture.
