Remembrance Sunday events in Johnstone and Elderslie will take place at a different time this year.
To bring the commemoration events more in line with the national standard time of 11am, organisers have reorganised the traditional schedule for Sunday, November 14.
The service at the war memorial in Abbey Cemetery, Elderslie, will now take place from 9.40am until 10.05am, before the start of the main parade, with participants asked to gather at the Army and Air Cadet campus in the village’s Canal Road at 10.15am.
After departing at 10.30am, the parade will head along Campbell Street and William Street, Johnstone, before arriving at the cenotaph in Houstoun Square, with the main ceremony starting at 10.45am.
Anyone who would like to take part in the parade or lay a wreath should email remembrancesunday41@gmail.com.
