A NEW farmers’ market is to be launched in Bishopton tomorrow.
Shoppers will be able to browse their way through 18 different stalls on the third Saturday of every month as the event takes place in the car park at the village’s train station.
Matthew Stevenson, licensee of Bishopton and Dargavel Farmers’ Market, told The Gazette: “There is going to be a really good selection of produce there which you’ll not be able to find anywhere else.
“We will be offering great Scottish food and drink, such as Aberdeen Angus, kippers from Oban, teas from Galloway, venison and rum, as well as top Spanish and French cuisine from our cousins in Europe.”
The market will be open from 10am until 2pm tomorrow, with local residents being encouraged to show their support by heading along.
