A CARE home in Renfrewshire has taken pictures of residents with messages to loved ones who are unable to visit due to the coronavirus crisis.
Sterling Care Home Ltd, in Paisley, reduced their visiting hours at the start of the week, to practise Government-recommended social distancing.
Since then, they have posted picture of residents alongside messages to loved ones on their social medias, with some messages going as far as Australia.
The team at Nightingale said: “We did this to ensure residents families weren’t getting distressed or worried, and we have also FaceTimed some families too.
“It’s a sad time in the last journey if their lives that we need them to feel loved and families know they’re are well cared for."
The spokesperson from the team ensured that keeping active while social distancing is vital to staying healthy throughout the crisis.
They added: “We are social distancing which can be difficult considering some of the residents live with dementia however if they are being active it’s much easier.”
