RENFREWSHIRE residents are being warned to brace for snow and ice as poor weather once again hits the country.
The Met Office has issued a yellow 'be aware' warning for the public with treacherous conditions on the way.
The alert is in place from 9pm on Wednesday until 10am on Thursday.
Forecasters say the ice and snow will likely bring some travel disruption.

Snow and ice warning for some northern parts from 2100 Wednesday - 1000 Thursday. Roads and railways are likely to be affected leading to longer journey times.

The warning reads: "Some roads and railways are likely to be affected - with longer journey times by road, bus and train services.
"Some injuries from slips and falls on icy surfaces are to be expected.
"There will probably be some icy patches on some untreated roads, pavements and cycle paths."
The warning comes around a month after two storms brought much of the country to a standstill.
Storm Ciara brought blizzard-like conditions and flooding at the start of February, before Storm Dennis brought further chaos a week later.
