POLICE have confirmed that human remains found in Paisley are that of missing man Kevin Bishop.
Officers have been carrying out enquiries at a house in Schaw Road, in the Gallowhill area of town.
A 46-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with Kevin's death.
Officers are still at the scene, where a blue forensics tent has been put in place.
It has been reported that Kevin's remains were found in a bin.
The man who was arrested is due to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court today and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
Meanwhile, Renfrewshire Council have confirmed there will be a delay on emptying the bins in Schaw Road, Claud Road, Netherhill Crescent and Gallowhill Road.
