Road cops in Greater Glasgow have been cracking down on crime 'during the hours of darkness'.
Officers from Road Policing Scotland said they had a 'busy night' on Sunday, February 25, across the area.
During their patrols, crews dealt with 'disqualified drivers, stolen cars, careless speeders, and pedestrians on the motorway.'
As part of the action, in Paisley officers recovered a motor that was 'stolen in an incident involving a knife being presented' at a victim recently.
Following that, cops traced the car and it has now been recovered for forensic examination.
Police also dealt with a driver who allegedly had 'no lights on' and was 'speeding' on the M8 at Govan.
The road user was stopped, charged, and reported.
Meanwhile, in Easterhouse, another motorist was handed a fine after allegedly being caught with no insurance.
They were fined £300 and given six penalty points, while their motor was also seized.
