A Paisley business has been praised for giving away free carpets to help those affected by the cost-of-living crisis.
Staff at Prestige Floors, in Causeyside Street, have been placing carpets outside their store for local people to collect free-of-charge since Monday.
Scores of people have now praised the business on social media for the generous act.
One wrote: "Absolutely tremendous. What a gesture in these challenging times."
Another said: "What a wonderful thing to do."
