NATURE lovers enjoyed exploring a renovated garden behind the Old Library Centre in Kilbarchan at the weekend.
Dozens of people were welcomed to the open day at the High Barholm venue on Saturday.
Willie Beattie, one of the volunteers who helped to revitalise the area, told The Gazette: “The event was very encouraging and I think around 60 people were there.
“Everyone was impressed with how the garden looked and we did an optional collection for St Vincent’s Hospice, which raised about £100.”
The garden is now open to the public on Mondays to Fridays, from 10am until noon and 2pm until 4pm.
