Police investigation after body found near wooded area
POLICE have launched an investigation after a man's body was found near a wooded area in Renfrewshire.
The force was called to the scene near to Barrhill Crescent in Kilbarchan on Sunday afternoon.
A force spokesman said: “We can confirm a man’s body was found near to Barrhill Crescent, Kilbarchan, around 2.30 pm on Sunday, December 22.
“Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances surrounding his death.”
