A man who had been driving in an "erratic manner" has been arrested for alleged drink driving.
Officers had been patroling Kilbarchan Road in Johsntone just before 12.30pm on Friday, May 10, when they spotted the car.
Police claim that the way the car was being driven is what drew their attention to the vehicle.
The driver was subject to a roadside breath test, which police say he failed.
The 45-year-old was arrested for driving whilst under the influence of alcohol and later charged with various road traffic offences.
He will appear in court at a later date.
