Lochwinnoch villagers have banded together to raise funds to hold the Feel Good Festival - which has been running for four years.
The campaigners of more than 50 people, which included pupils at Lochwinnoch Primary School, committed to covering as much distance as possible through various activities and competitions to raise money.
Jacqueline Quigg, project coordinator for organisers LEAP, said: "The aim of the Feel Good Festival is to make mental health a priority and provide a range of activities that improve wellbeing.
"We truly believe this is vital in the face of the challenges we all encounter today.
"We understand there can be a financial barrier which can prevent access to uplifting activities and it is our mission to remove as many as possible, so we can all benefit from the treatments and workshops in our programme.”
Fundraisers formed competitive teams of five.
Others have set their own challengers like the Keep Fit Hearties who have been completing 100 squats at their weekly class every Friday.
Pupils from Lochwinnoch Primary School did their daily miles, meanwhile, Wild Swim Adventures clocked up distances on the water.
Angela O’Neill, a Lochwinnoch resident, said: "We have had such fun taking part in this fantastic fundraiser.
"This challenge has added competition and laughter to some very wet walks during March.
"My team have all increased their mileage and we are feeling the benefits of our improved fitness.
"We have walked between 35 and 45 miles a day between us and are pleased to help the funds for this brilliant cause."
From May 10 to 26, the Feel Good Festival will stage more than 100 events, including a Feel Good Fair on May 18 with a range of free taster treatments, kids crafts, refreshments, curry, stalls and workshops.
With funding from Renfrewshire Council’s Villages Fund, the festival will extend its Feel Good Fortnight on a tour to villages across Renfrewshire.
The festival's booking is open online at www.myleapproject.org/fgfevents.
The fundraising campaign will be open in the first two weeks of April at https://gofund.me/f561c915.
